{pretty, happy, funny, real}

~ Capturing the context of contentment in everyday life ~

This fall, I finally got around to planting some bulbs to make the yard pretty in the spring. I dug (cut?) all the holes with the fancy new bulb-hole-digging tool, and Noah dropped in the bulbs and plopped the dirt back into the holes. Fun stuff.

my breakfast buddy

Corbin insists on being included at the table during mealtimes, and he's getting way too grabby to comfortably have him sitting in my lap (not to mention the difficulty of spreading butter on toast or cutting meat with only one hand), so we got the high chair baby-ready. So far, it's a hit.

 Corbin is getting really good at turning over.
 Noah enjoys goofing around for the camera.

The first tooth came in without much fanfare a few weeks ago. The second one finally poked its way through this afternoon, and it's been hard on all of us. Crying, whining, and general unhappiness... which I'm hoping we're done with for a while now.

Pretty, happy, funny, real is the brainchild of these ladies here, who are encouraging their reader to find contentment in the everyday perfection and imperfection of life.

Wow, I managed to both ignore the Master Bedroom Challenge AND post this a whole day earlier than intended. Let's blame it on sleep deprivation/baby brain.

He has teeth? He sits at the table? He rolls? I can't believe it. Clearly it's been way too long since we've seen each other. We should fix that.

I am glad you posted even without the bedroom :)

So cute! Teething is hard and just seems... unfair. But what a cutie!
