well, shoot!

Much to my dismay, I just read that starting at age 25, people lose muscle mass at the rate of half a pound per year! Why doesn't anybody tell you these things?!!
Because I am fast to adapt (and clearly, this is sort of an emergency), I designed a sort of reverse crunch-sit-up-related push-up just now that I did until my abs quivered (about 3 times).
Stay right there, new muscle mass! You hear me, missy?!!

I have heard the same thing. But I havent lost any of the baby fat from our youngest yet. And she will be three in June. I have it planned that when taxes come back to put a tread mill in the basement. I can find time to do that but no time to walk or run otherwise with two kids. Constantly on the run with them. LOL... I wouldnt give them up for the world though.

Half a pound a year? Hey, if I lost half a pound a year I'd completely disappear in like..., oh, 400 years. Damn! Guess there's no easy way to lose weight!

Either your word recognition thingy is fiendishly difficult, or I'm having a bad day. This is the third attempt. Fingers crossed...

Tweety - it's always a challenge to fit exercise into your schedule!
Richie - The weight loss thought had crossed my mind... too bad that doesn't work!

And right after the muscle mass starts disappearing, your skin starts to lose its elasticity. Then gravity starts sagging everything towards the floor. :(

But the good news is that you can get it back. I started going to gym in my early 40s and built muscle, lost weight, and generally looked very good. Then I got a dog a couple of years ago and stopped going to the gym. But I will be going back soon to get my better body back.
